Where do our dates come from?

At Tamaria, every date begins its journey in a special region:
El Wahat El Bahariya (Bahariya Oasis) in Egypt .

Located in the heart of the western desert, this oasis has been a place of agricultural tradition for centuries. Surrounded by vast sandy landscapes and palm groves, dates are grown here under natural conditions that significantly influence their quality and taste.

🌴 Why El Wahat El Bahariya?

The Bahariya oasis offers ideal conditions for growing high-quality dates:

Intense sunlight

Dry desert climate

Mineral-rich soils

Knowledge of date cultivation passed down through generations

Hot days and cooler nights allow for slow ripening directly on the palm tree. This is how the natural sweetness develops with a soft, caramel-like note – completely without additives.

✨ Our Medjool selection

Tamaria started with carefully selected Medjool dates , known for their size, juiciness, and intense flavor.

Our selection criteria:

Hand-harvested at the optimal ripening time

Natural drying on the palm tree

No added sugar

No preservatives

Careful sorting according to size and appearance

For our premium line , we select particularly large, visually uniform fruits – ideal as a gift or for special occasions.
Our Everyday line stands for high-quality dates for everyday life – natural, uncomplicated and conscious.

The difference lies in the selection and presentation – not in the purity or quality.

🤝 Trustworthy partnerships

We work with selected farms in the Bahariya Oasis that focus on:

Quality-oriented cultivation

Careful harvesting

Sustainable practices

set.

Each batch is tested before being exported to Germany – to ensure that taste, freshness and naturalness are preserved.

🌿 From the oasis to your home

From the tranquil palm grove in El Wahat El Bahariya to your table in Germany or to your loved ones in Egypt – every date carries a piece of its origin within it.

At Tamaria, we believe:
Real sweetness needs no additives.
Only the right source – and care.

Tamaria
Sweet moments, but of course.
